PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a diaphragm differential pressure type pressure switch capable of preventing generation of detection errors based on changes of environmental pressure in a low pressure chamber, and to provide a pressure detection system. SOLUTION: In the diaphragm differential pressure type pressure switch, a permanent magnet 412 is arranged on an extension section extended outside a differential pressure container of a differential pressure response rod 405 which extends outside the differential pressure container by passing through a through-hole 403f formed on a wall of the differential pressure container by combining with a pressure-receiving diaphragm 404 forming a low pressure chamber 401 and a high pressure chamber 402 by partitioning the inside of the differential pressure container 403 and advances and retreats together with displacement of the pressure-receiving diaphragm caused by differential pressure of the low pressure chamber and the high pressure chamber, a nonmagnetic rod cover 410 for surrounding an outer periphery of the differential pressure response rod at an airtight state is arranged by combining with an outer peripheral edge of the through-hole of the differential pressure container, and a reed switch 413 to be operated with a magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet mounted on the extension section is arranged by placing it outside the rod cover.
