PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for controlling a door of an elevator capable of exerting a vibration suppressing effect by a speed command value with a characteristic vibration cycle of the door as a parameter in opening/closing of the door for each floor. SOLUTION: This device for driving the door of the elevator includes a door panel opening/closing the doorway of an elevator car, a motor 9 arranged so as to drive the door panel, a rotation detecting means 17 for detecting the rotation of the motor, and the device for controlling the door for driving the motor in accordance with a signal output by the rotation detecting means. The device for controlling the door includes a floor data storing part 12 storing a parameter with respect to the door of each floor, a speed command value generating part 11 generating the speed command value for satisfying a requirement for each floor in accordance with the parameter stored in the floor data storing part, a speed calculating part 18 converting the output of detection by the rotation detecting means into the actual speed of the elevator door, and a speed control part 13 correcting an error between the speed command value from the speed command value generating part and the actual speed from the speed calculating part.
