PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent strength in a portion mounted with a cutting insert from being greatly lowered, even when a chip pocket part is enlarged to mount the large cutting insert in a cutting edge replacing type cutting tool or a tool body having a small diameter is used. SOLUTION: In this cutting tool, the cutting insert 1 is freely detachably mounted in the chip pocket part 11 in an outer peripheral part at an axial direction distal end side of a tool body 10, and an axial direction rear end side of the tool body 10 is mounted in an arbor by a mounting bolt 12 provided with a fastening hole part 12c in a bolt head part 12b. The bolt head part 12b of the mounting bolt 12 is stored in a guide storing hole part 14 provided in a center part on the axial direction rear end side of the tool body 10. The mounting bolt 12 is held in a rotatable state by a holding means 20. A hole 15 for fastening having a smaller diameter than that of the bolt head part 12b is penetrated from the axial direction distal end side of the tool body 10 to the guide storing hole part 14.
