PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe steam type beauty appliance, in which high temperature condensation water can be securely absorbed by a water absorption member. SOLUTION: The steam type beauty appliance 1 comprises a nozzle 6 provided on a body 2, of which elevation angle is adjustable, and the water absorption member 28 provided on the outlet side of the narrowest part 33 of a steam passage 32 in the nozzle 6. A water guide 34 is provided to guide condensation water C from the narrowest part 33 of the steam passage 32 to the water absorption member 28. Condensation water C generated at the narrowest part 33 of the steam passage 32 in the nozzle 6 is thus pushed by a steam current to be introduced to the water absorption member 28 provided on the outlet side of the narrowest part 33 of the steam passage 32 along the water guide 34 before forming a large water drop B, and it is absorbed by the water absorption member 28.
