摘要 Provided is a power transmission mechanism for a parallel hybrid vehicle, which can be applied to a large-size hybrid vehicle. To this end, the power transmission mechanism can smoothly combine and separate input and output powers of a motor and an engine and provide an input and output power combining and separating mechanism with a sufficient strength. The power transmission mechanism comprises a motor output shaft of a motor/generator which is rotatable independently of an engine drive shaft system connecting to a transmission through a main clutch; a motor brake which is provided at one end side of the motor output shaft and which releases/fixes the motor output shaft; a planetary gear mechanism provided between the other end side of the motor output shaft and the engine drive shaft system and comprised of a sun gear provided on the other end side of the motor output shaft, an outer gear provided in the engine drive shaft system and having a gear ratio of 1:1 to the sun gear, a plurality of planetary gears with which the sun gear and the outer gear engage, and a planetary carrier which receives and transmits the revolutions of the planetary gears; and a gear brake which is provided on one end side of the planetary carrier and which releases/fixes the planetary carrier.
