The flashlight has an electrical printed circuit board (2) assembled with LEDs (1) and arranged on an outer surface of a hollow profile. Electrical and electronic components e.g. capacitors, inverters or resistors, are provided in a hollow space of the profile for switching the LEDs. A carrier consists of massive carrier profiles made of hardenable casting resin, where the components are arranged inside the profiles. The flashlight is covered or surrounded with a shrink film, casting mass, lacquer coating or dipping paint for electrical isolation of the flashlight excluding sockets (3,3a).
