<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide RF-amide peptides, their use for treating, preventing and curing neurological disorders and metabolic medical disorders, and methods for identifying a G-protein coupled receptor and substances modulating the receptor. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided RF-amide peptides, their use for treating, preventing and curing neurological disorders and metabolic medical disorders, and methods for identifying the G protein coupled receptor and substances modulating the receptor. There is further provided a method for identifying SP9155 agonist or antagonist and including (a) a step to bring the SP9155 or its functional fragment into contact with a sample to be examined regarding to presence of the agonist or antagonist in the presence of a known amount of labeled SP9155 ligand and (b) a step to determine quantity of the ligand specifically bonded to the receptor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
