<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption by utilizing driver's way of gazing in a display surface. <P>SOLUTION: A gaze feature learning means 740 learns features of relationship between driver's gaze on the display surface and running environments on the basis of information of driver's sight received from a sight detection means 720 and running environment information of a vehicle CR received from a running environment information acquisition means 730. A gaze prediction means 750 predicts gaze timings on the basis of the running environments and the result of learning in the gaze feature learning means 740. A display control means 760 sets brightness of the display surface to first brightness when it is determined that a gaze timing has come or the display surface is being gazed on. When it is determined that the display surface is not being gazed except the case of the occurrence of gaze timing, the display control means 760 sets brightness of the display surface to second brightness lower than the first brightness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
