<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder conveying device that can suppress variance in amount of powder conveyed to a conveyance destination, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge which include the powder conveying device. <P>SOLUTION: The powder conveying device includes a second powder storage part for receiving powder to be filled therein from a first powder storage part where the powder is stored, a powder conveying pipe for leading the powder to the destination being below the second powder storage part, and a powder conveying member which is stored in the powder conveying pipe to convey the powder toward the destination. The powder conveying device executes a first mode of charging a prescribed amount of powder from the first powder storage part into the second powder storage part, and during a period after the first mode is completed and before the powder is conveyed toward the conveyance destination, executes a second mode of charging the powder from the second powder storage part into the powder conveying pipe by the powder conveying member to fill the powder conveying pipe with the powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
