<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strike a balance between the security and the convenience of a communication apparatus using Web application. <P>SOLUTION: The communication apparatus is provided with: a browser configured to receive and use data from a server in on-line, and to use the data received in the past in off-line: an encryption means configured to encrypt the data stored in the browser; an authentication means configured to perform user authentication when the browser tries to use the data encrypted by the encryption means; and a decryption means configured to, when the user authentication has been normally performed by the authentication means, decrypt the encrypted data, and to provide the data to the browser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
