PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruder for evaluating a resin material, capable of extruding a fixed quantity using a small amount of the resin material, and capable of evaluating the fluidity of the resin material and extrusion characteristics of a film, a sheet, a tube and the like simultaneously with precision using a small amount of a sample. SOLUTION: The extruder for evaluating the resin material, equipped with a feed opening 2, a heating and kneading part, a pressurizing part and a discharge opening, contains a gear pump 4 mounted between the tip of the pressurizing part feeding the resin material and the discharge opening, a resin return passage 7 returning the molten resin material from the pressurizing part through the gear pump to the heating and kneading part of the extruder, a flow passage-switching part mounted on the downstream side of the gear pump to make the molten resin material flow to the discharge opening through which the resin material is extruded to a mold at the tip of the extruder or to make the resin material return to the resin return passage, and at least two pressure sensors 3, 5, 8 and 9 mounted in the resin return passage.
