PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology allowing efficient operation of a shared resource. SOLUTION: A user of a client terminal 11 instructs remote operation of a shared file 33 stored by a client terminal 21. A session for remote operation corresponding one to one to the shared file 33 is established between the client terminals 11, 12. The client terminal 21 transmits screen data corresponding to an operation screen of the shared file 33 by use of the session for remote operation. The client terminal 11 displays the operation screen of the shared file 33 based on the received screen data. Processing of transmitting event information corresponding to the instruction of the user of the client terminal 11 to the client terminal 21 through the session for remote operation, and processing of transmitting the screen data reflected with processing based on the event information to the client terminal 11 through the session for remote operation are repeated.
