PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber strain measuring apparatus which reduces measurement errors caused by incoherent components characteristic of an optical fiber strain measuring apparatus using double pulses and improves measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber strain measuring apparatus for detecting a peak frequency on the basis of a periodic spectrum by double pulsed through the use of Brillouin scattering light in an optical fiber, an incoherent component removal means for removing incoherent scattering signals caused by front pulses and rear pulses of the double pulses is provided for a proceeding stage of a peak frequency detection means.
