PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate door device which does not have a tendency of causing contact scratches and noise even if a locking piece is brought into contact with a gate pier and can hold that state over a long period. SOLUTION: In this gate door device P, one end of a gate door 2 is rotatably attached to a first gate pier 1a, and the other end of the gate door 2 is locked to a second gate pier 1b through a locking device 3 attached to the other end. The locking device 3 includes locking pieces 31 which are attached, so as to face each other, to both ends of a rotatable shaft 32 longitudinally extending through the gate door 2. The gate door 2 is locked to the second gate pier by fitting the locking pieces 31 to the second gate pier 1b by the rotating the shaft 32. Covers 5 are placed over both the front and rear surfaces of the front end part of each locking piece 31, respectively. The front and rear covers 35 are joined to each other through a longitudinally extending through-hole 36 which is provided in the locking piece 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
