PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that takes the securement of safety and profit of an owner into account, in a sudden circumstance such as kidnapping. SOLUTION: When this mobile phone determines that the mobile phone itself is out of a usable area on the basis of acquired positional information and the set usable area (NO in step S3), the mobile phone informs a master unit that the mobile phone is out of the usable area by means of e-mail (step S4), and moves from an ordinary state to a pause state wherein execution of partial functions (functions of voice output, display, and input operation acceptance or the like) including a speech function is stopped (step S5).
