摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure for a building which is rational, can eliminate waste, and is excellent in workability with no loss of living space using a contrivance in the installation part of a vibration control unit (a vibration control device) such as substituting the weight of a bouncing slab (a floor slab) which is a constituent member of a building frame for the weight (a mass) of the TMD. SOLUTION: The vibration control structure of the building is constituted by providing the vibration control unit 9 on the exterior wall surface of the building 10. The vibration control unit 9 consists of a bouncing beam 1, the bouncing slab 3, a damping means, and a periodic adjusting spring. The bouncing slab 3 is provided above the bouncing beam 1 through the medium of an isolator 2 so that it can undergo horizontal displacement. One end of both the damping means and the periodic adjusting spring is connected to the bouncing beam 1, and the other end of both the damping means and the periodic adjusting spring is connected to the bouncing slab 3.
