PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of making projections/recessions generated on an outer surface of a sidewall when molding a tire inconspicuous, and suppressing the extension of crack generated on a sidewall. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a decorating part 2 of the sidewall 1 is provided with a plurality of quadrilateral patterns 21. The circumference of each quadrilateral pattern 21 is composed of two circumferential direction sides 21a and two diametrical direction sides 21b, and each circumferential direction side 21a and each diametrical direction side 21b are made of rib elements projecting out from an outer surface of the sidewall 1. Therefore, the projections/recessions generated on the outer surface of the sidewall 1 by carcass folding end part and the like when molding the tire becomes inconspicuous due to projections/recessions by each circumferential direction side 21a and each diametrical direction side 21b or projections/recessions by each ridge 21c.
