PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the separation resistance by suppressing the separation of a circumferential belt layer from rubber at the end of the tire width direction and in a vicinity thereof while reducing the rolling resistance. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has one or more circumferential belt layers 7 consisting of a rubber-covered cord extending in the tire circumferential direction which is located on the outer circumference of a crown part 6 of a toroidally extending carcass 5, and one or more inclined belt layers 8 consisting of a rubber-covered cord extending in an inclined manner to the tire circumferential direction on the outer side of the tire circumferential direction of the circumferential belt layer 7 between a pair of bead parts 2. A rubber member 10 which is constituted of rubber having the loss tangent smaller than that of the rubber constituting a tread part 4, is arranged on the outer side of the tire width direction at the tire width direction end 9 of the circumferential belt layer 7.
