PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for loading a long object and the like for a truck with which the long object does not exclusively dominate the top of a deck when the long object such as a ladder is loaded and carried, the long object is easily loaded and unloaded, and the long object can be carried safely. SOLUTION: The loading device includes a deck member 2, a main arm 3, an auxiliary arm 4, a cargo receiving member 5 and an expansion/contraction means 6, and is configured to move the long object mounted on the cargo receiving member 5 in parallel to an upper part of a cab by a parallel link mechanism formed by the deck member 2, the main arm 3, the auxiliary arm 4 and the cargo receiving member 5 and the expansion/contraction means 6.
