PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device and a printing device which enable detection of the presence or absence of a planar member such as a print paper. SOLUTION: The clamping device 33 of the double-sided stencil printing device 1 includes: clamp craws 44 which clamp a printing paper 99; and detection electrodes 45, 46 which are connected to the clamp craws 44, 44.
