PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container display system displaying containers with marks pointing in a predetermined direction even when the containers are placed with the marks thereof directing at random in displaying the containers lengthwise. SOLUTION: When the container 20 charged with a second identification mark 23b thereof pointing the side of a moving passage reaches between a second inclined portion 512 and an inclined portion 522 as shown in (A), the inclination portion 522 is located below a projecting portion 24 of the container 20. The projecting portion 24 is lifted by the inclined portion 522 to thereby tilt the container 20, so that the outer peripheral surface of a cap 22 comes into contact with a first inclined portion 511 as shown in (C). After that, the container 20 starts circumferential rotation to further move forward. When the second identification mark 23b directs forward, the projecting portion 24 is released from being supported by a straight portion 521.
