PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition containing a surfactant at high concentration, excellent in cleaning power and storage stability, and without reducing solubility due to gelation upon dilution with water. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition includes (A) a surfactant containing (a-1) a particular nonionic surfactant having a polyglycerin structure and (a-2) an anionic surfactant; (B) a water-miscible organic solvent; and (C) water, wherein (a-1) is ≥50 mass% in (A), and the mass ratio of (a-1) and (a-2), i.e., (a-1)/(a-2) is 50/50 to 99/1.
