The method involves over-drilling an old pipe with an overdrilling head (1) which is driven by a drilling rod in a sliding manner. The new pipes are tapered with an entrance head that is fixed to the drilling rod. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an overdrilling head with a shackle; (2) an entrance head with a fastening unit; and (3) a drill string.
