<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide organic solvent soluble dyes, in particular, to provide organic solvent soluble metal complex dyes containing chelated metal atoms. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides organic solvent soluble nonionic copper or nickel complex azo dyes having ranges widened in solubility and compatibility to solvents. The dyes have a widened range of solvent solubility from aliphatic hydrocarbons to a lower alcohol depending on individual chemical structures. The dyes are compatible with many organic solvents in various ratios, the dyes, for example, are hard to crystallize or form solid precipitation even in incorporated into such as ink. The solvents can be replaced partly or whole with a dispersant, surfactant or other appropriate substance, and configured as able to convert the dyes into a stable aqueous dispersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
