PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye compound having low solubility in water and high solubility in an organic solvent, and improving dispersibility of an azo pigment in an organic solvent. SOLUTION: The dye compound is expressed by general formula (1). In formula (1), R1represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group; R2represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or aryl group; R3to R7each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogem atom, or a trifluoromethyl, nitro, acetylamino, hydroxy, sulfamoyl, alkyl, alkoxy, or CONR8R9group, in which at least one in R3to R7is a CONR8R9group; R8represents an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group; and R9represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group.
