PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Karaoke performance device in which it is forbidden to use only for dance accompaniment music, that is, purposes other than original intent. SOLUTION: The Karaoke system includes: a voice input determining means 47 for determining whether or not, a singing voice signal which is input from a microphone 24 is detected; a motion period calculation means 48 for calculating a motion period by detecting motion of a user, when any Karaoke musical piece is performed; a tempo period acquiring means 49 for acquiring a tempo period based on a performance tempo of a Karaoke musical piece being performed; a period comparing means 50 for comparing the motion period with the tempo period, when the singing voice signal which is input from the microphone 24 in a singing period is not detected; a period matching time measurement means 51 for measuring a continuation time when both periods match; and a use suppressing means 52 for purposes other than original intent, which performs processing for suppressing the use for purposes other than original intent of the Karaoke performance device 11, when the measured continuation time exceeds a predetermined reference time.
