PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil member and a stator capable of suppressing a circulating current while employing a structure with a plurality of layers of coil wire wound in parallel. SOLUTION: The coil members 120, 220 are formed by winding split flat-type wires 110, 210 with two coil wires edgewise. The coil members 120, 220 form a coil unit. The first inner layer terminal 121a and first outer layer terminal 121b of the coil member 120 are continuously connected to the first inner layer terminal 222a and second outer layer terminal 222b of the coil member 220. That is, each coil wire 110a, 110b of the coil member 120 and each coil wire 210a, 210b of the coil member 220 are laminated in a reverse laminated direction from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side. Thereby, the length of the coil wires on the whole of the coil unit can be uniformed to reduce a circulating current while reducing a resistance difference between the outside coil wire and inside coil wire.
