PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular accelerator for accelerating a charged particle beam by generating a non-sine wave accelerating voltage by simple structure and control. SOLUTION: In the circular accelerator, an electromagnet power source 22 for carrying current to a deflecting electromagnet 13 outputs, in response to predetermined I(t)/B(t) correlation data between time change waveform I(t) data of carried current value and time change waveform B(t) data of deflecting magnetic field intensity B generated in the deflecting electromagnet 13 correspondingly, the time change waveform I(t) of current corresponding to the I(t) data synchronously with a clock signal. A high-frequency accelerating power source 20 which outputs a high-frequency voltage to be input to a high-frequency acceleration device 15 outputs, to the B(t) data, a time change waveform V(t) of non-sine wave voltage necessary for acceleration corresponding to the energy determined by time change waveform E(t) data of an energy E capable of maintaining the charged particle beam in a predetermined orbit synchronously with the clock signal.
