PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for producing bar-shaped strontium carbonate particle powder from which granular strontium carbonate can be easily obtained even when the bar-shaped strontium carbonate particle powder is crushed by an airflow crusher or the like, and to provide an industrially advantageous method for producing granular strontium carbonate particle powder by using the bar-shaped strontium carbonate particle powder. SOLUTION: The method for producing bar-shaped strontium carbonate particle powder comprises a step of heating the aqueous slurry containing acicular strontium carbonate particle powder at ≥50°C. The method for producing granular strontium carbonate particle powder comprises the steps of: heating the aqueous slurry containing acicular strontium carbonate particle powder at ≥50°C to obtain the bar-shaped strontium carbonate particle powder; and crushing the obtained bar-shaped strontium carbonate particle powder.
