<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly warm up an energy storage means while preventing the energy storage means from being charged and discharged by excessive power. <P>SOLUTION: When battery warm-up is requested (S320, 330), heat generation of internal resistance of the battery is increased to accelerate the warm-up by controlling a booster circuit by a switching frequency lower than usual to increase a ripple current, and control for preventing a torque from being output from motors MG1, MG2 is performed by autonomously operating an engine during the warm-up (S350, 360), thus smoothly warming up the battery while preventing the battery from being charged and discharged by excessive power. Also, when an engine stop is requested during the warm-up (S310), the autonomous operation of the engine continues to implement control for preventing the torque from being output from the motors MG1, MG2 (S350, 360) until a change in the switching frequency is completed (S420, 430). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
