<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storage device for selling unused recording media with no data recorded thereon that can efficiently collect payment for recording media and can prevent the stock exhaustion of the recording media. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium storage device 2 for storing a plurality of recording media in a housing and sequentially discharging the recording media stored in the housing according to a discharge instruction includes an identification information storage unit 21, a discharge instruction input unit, a recording medium discharge control unit 22, and a network interface, and is connected through a network N to a recording medium management server 3 for managing sales of the recording media where, in response to an input of a discharge instruction, the discharge control unit 22 transmits to the recording medium management server 3 a request for the transmission of recording medium discharge permission information including stored identification information, and discharges the recording medium upon receiving the recording medium discharge permission information transmitted from the recording medium management server 3 based on the accounting of proceeds from sale of the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
