<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of fibrous columnar structures which has excellent mechanical characteristics, a high specific surface area and excellent pressure-sensitive adhesive properties, an assembly of fibrous columnar structures which has high heat resistance, a high specific surface area and excellent pressure-sensitive adhesive properties under temperature conditions from room temperature to high temperatures, an assembly of fibrous columnar structures which has a high specific surface area and such pressure-sensitive adhesive properties as showing no change in the adhesion force to adherends having different surface free energy (that is, showing no adherend-selectivity), and a pressure-sensitive adhesive member using the assembly of fibrous columnar structures. <P>SOLUTION: The assembly 1 of fibrous columnar structures to be used for a pressure-sensitive adhesive member comprises a plurality of fibrous columnar structures 2, and is characterized in that: the fibrous columnar structure is a carbon nanotube; the carbon nanotube has a plurality of layers; the distribution width of a layer number distribution of the carbon nanotube having the plurality of layers is 10 to 30 layers; the relative frequency of the mode in the above described diameter distribution is 25% or less; and the maximum layer is 5 to 30 layers, while the minimum layer is 1 to 10 layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
