PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension arm whose durability can be improved and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: In this suspension arm being manufacturable by bending an extruded material having a closed cross section and made of aluminum alloy by using this extruded material as a raw material, through parts 32K, 77 are formed in an inner peripheral wall 22 of a bent part 90. Both of end parts of this suspension arm are individually attached to a suspension frame and a knuckle through a mount bush in which a shaft core O exists along the forward and backward directions of vehicle. This suspension arm has a spring seat mounting part 21 on an upper face of an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction, and the through parts 32K, 77 are formed at least on one side of the spring seat mounting part 21.
