An apparatus comprising a body member, a projection member coupled to said body member, and an elongated attachment member coupled to said body member. Said elongated attachment member having a means for coupling to a receiving member. Said projection member is configured to form a sealing engagement with a bore of a flanged conduit. A method of installing a flange protector on a flanged conduit comprises an installing step comprising installing a flange protector onto a flanged conduit having a bore extending at least partially therethrough. Said method further comprises inserting at least a portion of at least one elongated attachment member through at least one orifice in said flange, and attaching at least a portion of said at least one elongated attachment member to at least one receiving member. Said method further comprises a sealing step comprising sealing said bore. |
