PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain control from getting troublesome in adopting a suggestion performance suggesting the possibility that players will be able to play a game in an advantageous game condition during a game including a symbol variation game. SOLUTION: In the symbol variation game, the game machine permits a card performance suggesting the degree of expectation of a jackpot from a combination to be carried out by relating the degree of expectation of a jackpot to every combination based on numbers and marks during the symbol variation game. A unification control CPU permits the detail of a performance to be decided by deciding on a card to be derived by deciding on combination arrangement patterns, preceding and following number patterns, and mark patterns in response to combination specification in connection with the card performance. In the mark patterns, different marks are specified for display positions where the numbers are the same in related preceding and following number patterns. Consequently, permitting one mark pattern to be used in the preceding and following number patterns contributes to the restraining of an increase in the kinds of mark patterns and the restraining of an increase in the detail of control relating to a decision on the mark patterns.
