PURPOSE: A battery system, a battery module, and a method for cooling the battery module are provided to transfer the large amount of heat energy to a refrigerant and a conduit with the thick thickness of a rail unit. CONSTITUTION: A battery module(20) includes a first battery cell, a first cooling pin, and first and second conduits. The first cooling pin comprises a first panel unit, and first and second rail units located on first and second ends of the first panel unit. The first battery cell is closely installed to a first side surface of the first panel unit. The thickness of the first and second rail unit is thicker than the first panel unit. |
