PURPOSE: A sunlight tracking device with a calculating unit for calculating the position of the sun is provided so that the yawing and the swing rotating angle of a solar cell module is determined and driven using the altitude angle, the azimuth and the hour angle of the sun. CONSTITUTION: A sunlight tracking device with a calculating unit for calculating the position of the sun comprises a solar cell module, a calculation unit, a first driving part, a second driving part, a first controller and a second controller. The calculation unit calculates the altitude angle and the azimuth(Φs) of the sun according to the date and the hour. The first driving part makes the solar cell module yaw. The second driving part rotates the solar cell module. The first controller controls the first driving part according to the altitude angle of the sun, which has been calculated by the calculation unit. The second controller controls the second driving part according to the azimuth of the sun, which has been calculated by the calculation unit. The calculation unit receives the latitude and the longitude of a region, in which the solar cell module has been installed, and the longitude of the standard meridian and calculates the azimuth and the altitude angle of the sun. |
