PURPOSE: A method for monitoring a system status, and a recording medium and an apparatus thereof are provided to use a use range and restrictions of each function, thereby restricting each function. CONSTITUTION: A controller(910) manages a function module relation list and a function based status diagram which express relation between a function and a module of a system and requirements. The function based status diagram expresses a use range of the function, restrictions, and status transition of a module by execution of the function. The controller provides the use range of the function and restrictions to a monitor which monitors the function and the module according to the function module relation list.
