ANODE ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary, and the lithium secondary battery including thereof are provided to improve the workability when manufacturing a negative electrode, by having the specific range of fine particle content. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary contains a core material carbon material with an edge partially or entirely covered with a carbide layer. The negative electrode active material has the K value marked with chemical formula 1: K=[(A-B)/Ax100], of 5~40. In the chemical formula 1, A is the average particle diameter D50 measured by the laser scattering method.
