PURPOSE: A seat management system and a control method of a theater using a sensor which efficiently manages the seats of a performance place by storing seat preference information in database are provided to easily recognize corresponding seats by mounting sensors detecting whether to take a seat. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(10) is respectively installed in a plurality of seats. The sensors generate the signals by detecting whether to take a seat. A server(30) outputs information according to the detected signal. The server stores information inputted from the sensor unit in database. A display unit(40) displays the availability of the seats corresponding to sensors. |
