PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal, a smart card, and a method for managing a message using the same are provided to check only a multimedia message from a smart card through list information, thereby efficiently managing the multimedia message. CONSTITUTION: A request information transmitting unit(201) transmits the first request information about list information to a smart card. The smart card stores a message and the list information for the message. A list information transceiving unit(203) receives the list information from the smart card according to the first request information. A controller(205) controls the request information transmitting unit. A message transceiving unit(207) receives the message from the smart card according to the second request information.
