PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to improve the coherence between a bearing housing and a core by increasing the bonding area between the bearing housing and the core through an adhesive as a medium. CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft(150) is rotatably installed inside a bearing housing(120). A stator(170) comprises a core(171) with an inner circumference which is coupled to the outer circumference of the bearing housing and a coil(175) which is wound in the core. A rotor(160) is combined in the rotary shaft. The up/down side of the bearing housing is formed into an opened cylindrical form. A bearing(130) is fixed to the inner circumference of the bearing housing. A ring-shaped groove is formed in the outer circumference of the bearing housing which faces the core. An adhesive flows into the ring-shaped groove.
