NOVEL BIS-(3-HYDROXY-4-METHYL-PHENYL) DERIVATIVES AND METHODS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A bis-(3-hydroxy-4-methyl-phenyl) derivative and a production method thereof are provided to improve the solubility of the derivative for a polar solution including water, by combining with tetraacetyl-mannose or mannose. CONSTITUTION: A bis-(3-hydroxy-4-methyl-phenyl) derivative is marked with chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R2 and R2 are hydrogen, tetraacetyl-mannose, or mannose, respectively. A production method of the derivative comprises a step of reacting 1,7-bis-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxy-phenyl)hepta-1,6-diene-3,5-dione with either a compound marked with chemical formula 6, or a compound marked with chemical formula 7.
