ULTRASOUND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING IMPEDENCE MATCHING

PURPOSE: An ultrasound system is provided to execute an impedance matching process by using a resistance value in order to match impedance detected with a variable resistor. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound system comprises an ultrasonic probe(110) and a main body(120). The ultrasonic probe stores ultrasonic probe information which includes identification information and frequency information. The main body comprises a signal formation part(121), an impendence matching part(122), and a processor(123). The signal formation part forms an analog signal for the impedance matching by using the ultrasonic probe information. The impendence matching part reduces an impedance difference between the main body and the ultrasonic probe. The processor executes an impedance matching process by using the ultrasonic probe information and the analog signal.
