PURPOSE: A display device and an electronic paper are provided to increase response speed while lowering an operation voltage. CONSTITUTION: The inside of a cylindrical structure is empty. Upper and lower electrodes face each other. A partition wall structure of a lattice form is arranged between the upper and lower electrodes. A display device includes the first and second display areas(101,102) which are charged by positive and minus charges respectively.
