GUIDER FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING MOLD AND CONTINUOUS CASTING APPARATUS OF SLAB THEREWITH

PURPOSE: A direct downward guider for an outlet of a continuous casting mold and a continuous casting apparatus for manufacturing a slab using the same are provided to implement smooth direct-downward transfer of slabs having a thickness of 30~60mm, which are discharged from a continuous casting mold. CONSTITUTION: A direct downward guider for an outlet of a continuous casting mold comprises a first guide member(10) and a second guide member(20). The first guide member comprises a flat contact surface which a lateral side of a slab contacts and a plurality of through holes(30). The second guide member comprises a flat contact surface and a plurality of through holes, and is installed opposite to the first guide member. The area of the first and the second guide member, which contacts a slab discharged from a continuous casting mold, is greater than the non-contact area.
