PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for differentially providing quality of a multicast service based on a priority order are provided to make users feel the delay of packets less by adjusting the transmission priority order of packet. CONSTITUTION: A priority setting unit(103) sets up the priority order of packets through the use of a network connection category, and a node sensing unit(102) senses the connected node amount. The connected node amount is the amount of the nodes connected to the network. Based on the set priority and the sensed connected node amount, a standby time setup unit(104) gives delay time before transmission to the packets. If the delay time before transmission elapses, a packet transmission unit(105) transmits the packets. |
