PURPOSE: A water purification apparatus and a method thereof are provided to improve a recovery rate by collecting backwashing drain water from a pressurizing type micro filter by using an aperture control type fiber yarn filter. CONSTITUTION: A water purification processing apparatus includes a raw water storage tank(110), a moment scrambler(120), a two shift coagulation basin(130), an inclination plate settler(140), a filter membrane inflow water tub(150), a press micro filter(160), a back washing tub(170), a water treatment tank(180), a backwashing drain water collection basin(190), a flow path converting part(200), an aperture control type fiber yarn filter(210), a times sludge drain bottle(220), and a control panel. The moment scrambler generates micro-floc by reacting contaminants and coagulant. The two shift coagulation basin grows microfloc within the effluent which is flown out from the moment scrambler. The aperture control type fiber yarn filter filters the water by receiving the backwashing drain water.
