The device (D) has a screen (EC) comprising a front face with fixed marks (RF) representing values of information. Information indicator (I1) is fixedly integrated to a flexible belt (C1). A driving unit (ME1) drives the belt for positioning the indicator relative to the marks to indicate current value of the information. The belt and the driving unit respectively have shape cooperation units (TR1, SA1) to cooperate together to drive the belt. The belt slides against a wall (P1) of a slide (MG). The wall has a shape chosen to permit displacement of the indicator along a predefined path.
