PURPOSE: A scroll compressor is provided to enhance the compression performance without the influence on the construction of a compression chamber, which is formed by a rotary scroll and a fixed scroll. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor comprises a fixed scroll(132), a rotary scroll(150), sealing plates(144,160), and tip seals(140,158). A seal groove(138) of a discharge chamber(126) and a fixed wrap(136) are communicated through the fixed plate(134) of the fixed scroll and the fixed wrap and thus a first pressure introducing hole(142) is formed. The pressure of the refrigerant of the discharge chamber is applied to the tip seal of the fixed wrap through the first pressure introducing hole. The discharge chamber and the space between one side of the fixed plate and a sealing plate(144) are communicated through the fixed plate of the fixed scroll and thus a second pressure introducing hole(146) is formed. The pressure of the refrigerant of the discharge chamber is applied to the sealing plate of the fixed wrap through the second pressure introducing hole. |
